Brent Jackson

I am a creative interactive developer, thriving in the space between creative and execution. I approach every project as a series of problems to solve, bringing an interactive and engaging product to life through creative logic and design-doing.

Sounds like a lot of buzzword nonsense, but it's true. Let me get to the point: I'll make your website look and feel great for both you and for your users by activating creative solutions to solve boring problems.

Workflow
  • Immersion - How can I build you something neither of us understand? Let's get together and talk it over. I'll ask you and any other stakeholders a series of questions to help me, and possibly you, understand the scope and reasoning behind the project.
  • UI Time - We'll move into design. I'll show you some layouts, including desktop and mobile versions, and we'll discuss them.
  • UX driven development - It's all about the user. We want the people using your site to have an intuitive experience on your site. Meaning, we want them to know from the first time they visit the site where the content they are searching for is located. We'll accomplish this by making the site streamlined and obscenely user-friendly.

About

Born and raised in the 918. I've been in the Tulsa agency scene for nearly five years, and thrive in the agency life.

Apart from being a web connoisseur, I am a proud dad of two boys and am married to my best friend. I enjoy hiking, running, and soaking up as much sun as possible.

I would make an excellent addition to your trivia team. I don't claim to know everything, but I know way too much about pop culture and can spout off useless information on demand.

I enjoy cooking all kinds of things, but I'm honestly best in front of a smoker. I can make you some damn good BBQ.

I like to build things. Working with my hands on a woodworking project is an excellent change of pace from computer work.

Like every good modern human, I love movies and TV. Some of my favorites are Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones (except for the last season, please don't make me talk about it), The Good Place, Ozark, and pretty much anything HBO spits out.

I collect fantasy books (occasionally, I actually read them too).

I also paint miniatures, and play a number of board and tabletop games.
